Constructing an investment portfolio is not a one-size-fits-all exercise. What works for other top investors may not necessarily work for you. Following them blindly can lead to a disastrous mismatch with your own investing style.

We all have our own preferences and behavioral biases. Managing Partner of Wateram Capital

Sam Phoen is a seasoned financial markets practitioner with over 25 years of experience. His working career includes 16 years in the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC), where he was the deputy department head of the Foreign Exchange Department. He also had successful stints in a large Hedge Fund, followed by over 6 years in Shanghai managing the China Global Markets business with Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ).

Sam is the author of highly acclaimed “High Net Worth Investing – How to grow your wealth through practical asset allocation” published by Marshall Cavendish Business. He is currently a managing partner of Wateram Capital, an investment, consultancy, and training firm he co-founded. He speaks/teaches regularly at the Singapore Exchange, Wealth Management Institute and various financial institutions and Private Banks in Singapore, Hong Kong and Jakarta.

Sam is a graduate from the National University of Singapore, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Sam was also formerly a Board Director for CFA Singapore.

潘添礼(Sam Phoen)是一位拥有超过25年丰富经验的金融市场从业人员。他曾在新加坡政府投资公司(GIC)工作16 年，主管外汇、货币市场及大众商品。他也在对冲基金里担任高级资金经理。2009-2015年，他曾在澳新银行集团中国上海分行担任全中国环球金融市场部门总经理，帮助澳新在中国大力拓展金融市场业务。

近两年，潘添礼创立了沃德资产(Wateram Capital)，同时也出版了《高净值投资 - 如何通过实际资产配置增加财富》，得到各方赞誉，包括新加坡海峡时报的大力推荐。潘添礼目前除了是投资经理外，也同时是专业顾问和培训师。任教过的机构包括新加坡交易所、财富管理学院以及新加坡、香港和印度尼西亚的多家银行和金融机构。
